Ok so it’s still 80 degrees in Los Angeles, moncler london pretty normal for September, moncler outlet online but I have to admit that I am starting to get into the fall mood, moncler gilet slowly but surely I am scouring through the current newsstand fashion magazines and online websites for specialty jackets and items that I might be looking to own this fall to add a fresh updated look to some of the existing things I own in my closet.
I have to say I have been seeing a lot of bright and bold colored women’s coats and women’s jackets that I love.

How many of you own a nice black coat or even two, montcler these are classics and will never go out of style, moncler mens you should always keep these around as they are always great to have.
Why not try something different this fall, moncler gamme bleu let’s think about “brightening up” your wardrobe.
How about a bright coat? This is something that will brighten up the dreariest of days and make your outfit instantly more special.
Here are a few tips on how to wear a bright coat.
Personally I really like wearing them over neutral colors, moncler shirt black or white. This puts the emphasis on the coat itself and balances it out. I also don’t mind wearing it monochromatic (which a lot of designers are showing this fall) but if you do this, moncler bady make sure to keep your shoes, moncler jacket men bag and hosiery neutral or black. Don’t forget if you do this, moncler hat go easy with your jewelry, simpler is always better.
Here is a quick inspirational look page I have put together to show a couple of my favorite fabulous looking women’s coats for this season. I hope this inspires you to get out there and hunt for that fun, bright colored coat you never thought would look good on you, just try it …..I know I will be looking for one and as soon as I find it, you will see wearing it right here in an upcoming blog story!!

Mothers Day Trunk Show At Ca Del Sole Restaurant–montcler

Mothers Day Trunk Show At Ca Del Sole Restaurant

A few months ago a very good friend of mine contacted me to see if I wanted to have a trunk show for my jackets, moncler mens jacket jewelry and scarves during a Mother’s Day luncheon that she was organizing. She explained that this was the second year they were doing the luncheon event and it was going to be at a beautiful Italian restaurant in Toluca Lake called “Ca Del Sole”.

I knew of the restaurant and had been there once or twice over the last few years always enjoyed the atmosphere and food, moncler beanie so I accepted the invitation right away, moncler coats as I knew the restaurant setting was beautiful and would make it an ideal place to show my jacket collection to the ladies attending. I felt very confident that the ladies attending were my demographic and hoped to meet new potential customers.

As far as the restaurant name”Ca Del Sole” it means “House of the sun” and it truly felt that way because of their beautiful outdoor/indoor décor of the restaurant. It is modeled after a Venetian country inn, moncler moka and has a plant and palm tree filled patio with private cabanas that normally have table setting for dining, moncler usa this is what makes this setting so unique and sublime for me. If you are ever in Los Angeles area I highly recommend this Zagat rated restaurant for lunch or dinner.

My husband and I got an early start on the Saturday morning around 9am to set up our booth for the 11am event start. We had a very nice corner area on the patio, moncler polo shirt which was roomy enough to display all my jackets, moncler trainers and jewelry and scarves on a couple of tables. After initial set up,moncler men my husband left and I proceeded to pamper the booth until the first ladies started to arrive.

It got busy pretty quickly and I started selling right away. The event was such a great experience for me,moncler bambino I got to see a lot of friends I hadn’t seen for a long time, moncler acorus and I also met a lot of new ladies who loved my jackets and jewelry and are now new clients. I love these kinds of trunk shows because I get to meet my existing customers and new customers and I have chance to get a one on one conversation with them to hear their personal needs so I can help show them how to wear my jackets and accessories to look their best. I wish I had the opportunity to do more of these kind of events as they are such fun to have.

I had a wonderful day and a great experience with all the wonderful ladies in attendance and would personally like to thank Ella Boghosian, Teni Khosrovian, Carmen Boodaghian and Caroline Mikailian for inviting “Jacket Society” and producing such a wonderful event for everyone.

Some of our best sellers during the show were the Joy Jacquard jacket, the Stephanie jacket, the Olivia jacket, the Kate jacket, the Soleil jacket, and the Avery jacket.

If you are interested in any of these jackets, be sure to take a look and see if they belong in your wardrobe – dont’t wait long because after this show my inventory is now limited and they will sell out soon.

Below I have included some of the pictures from the event. I look forward to doing many more of these in the future – Please contact me if you live in the Los Angeles Area and would like to me to attend one of your events.

Prints Are A Spring Staple Year After Year | Jacket Society–moncler kids

Spring is here yet again and of course with it comes the “spring staple” trend of prints especially floral prints. Prints are a spring staple year after year. I have been in the fashion business for a long time and as far back as I can remember, moncler ski floral prints have always been a trend for spring summer. Flowers are, cheap moncler jackets after all, moncler gamme rouge a symbol of spring and with this every spring season we see an array of floral prints done in different ways and colors. But it’s not just florals, veste moncler there is other kind of prints like geometrics or dots and stripes that make the spring season more playful and fun. This is the time when most people take vacations or spend a lot more time outdoors and what better way to represent that fun spirit than wearing some great prints.
I have been more excited about this spring’s floral trend because I have been seeing a lot more womens jackets and blazers done in floral or other kinds of prints. Normally we are used to seeing prints done in a lot of tops, moncler grenoble skirts, moncler womens coats dresses and even some soft pants but not so much in jackets. But for spring 2014 a lot of designers have come out with innovative and unexpected ways of doing prints in tailored blazers, moncler usa moto jackets, moncler hat baseball jackets and even vests. The outcome has been great and it has put a fresh spin on doing prints in an unexpected silhouette.
Below I have picked some of my favorites from the spring 2014 runways. I know I will be looking for some printed jackets this spring and I will share my finds with you.
How about you? Please let me know your thoughts on printed jackets.

My Favorite Distressed Leather Jacket

Do you love to travel?  I do,moncler jakker and I have been lucky enough throughout my life to be able to see some beautiful and amazing places.  I have always loved the adventure of it,moncler gamme rouge the unknown, moncler shoes something different and new.  When you are on vacation seeing a new country you want to be impulsive and say “yes” to every experience because it’s part of the fun.  Somehow you get an extra energy boost to do more and see more even when you are exhausted.  Seeing beautiful sites, moncler cap learning about local traditions, monclere eating amazing food and of course shopping is all part of the adventure of travel.

I know we all love to shop, moncler t shirts but as a fashion designer I also like to check out ALL the stores and see what people are wearing in other countries.  It’s very inspirational and I come back refreshed and full of new ideas.  I always look for unique pieces to bring back with me,moncler ski jacket from clothing to other home décor items.

Six years ago we went on a wonderful trip to Rome, moncler homme Italy and London, moncler womens coats England. As you know both of these countries are capitals of fashion and you can’t help but want to go into every store and buy everything.  One of my all time favorite jacket finds was during this trip when we were in Rome.  Even though its six years old and I have worn it to death, moncler jacket I wanted to share it with you because it’s so unique and timeless and every time I put it on I get compliments.  The distressed leather is beautiful to begin with, but the cut and top stitching detail make it even more special. I loved it as soon as I saw it, because it was different and I had never seen anything else like it.  The fact that it was in my favorite tan color leather didn’t hurt either.

Going out the other day I wore it with my white jeans and a grey tank top.  I love combining tan, white and grey.  You can’t really go wrong with this color combo.  I added two of my brand new necklaces that have beautiful grey and tan stones in them.  Both of these necklaces are really beautiful and available for purchase Here and Here.

Its been quite warm recently in Los Angeles (like usual) and I feel bad saying this since I know most of you are experiencing brutally cold weather.  Honestly I wish it would be a little colder in LA so we could experience somewhat of a winter season.

At night though temperatures tend to drop somewhat, so usually I like to take an extra sweater, shawl or scarf with me.  That’s why I decided to add my grey and black leopard scarf.  One of the best ways to do this without having to carry it in your hand is to tie it to your bag like I have done here.  This scarf is also available on our web site Here

The MET Exhibit China Through The Looking Glass–montcler

The MET Exhibit China Through The Looking Glass

As you all know, moncler outlet online from last weeks blog story, moncler coat I had a wonderful time with my son during our recent trip to NYC. As I mentioned then one of the highlights of the trip for me,moncler online shop was to see the “China Through The Looking Glass” exhibit at the Met. This exhibit which opened in May and runs until August 16th,moncler beanie is huge and it was unfortunately very difficult to see all of it,moncler jacke let alone write about it especially when I was walking it with an 18 year old young man who is interested in fashion but not to this level. He was my photographer for the trip and even though he tried, moncler gamme bleu it was very difficult to get good quality pictures inside because of the different levels of lighting and with it being so dark inside in some areas. Nevertheless I wanted to share our pictures with you and tell you if you are going to be in NYC this summer make sure you visit this exhibit as it is well worth seeing especially close up and in person.

The show is named after Lewis Carroll’s novel and it focuses on the wide-reaching influence that Chinese art and film have had on western fashion. The show is not about China according to Andrew Bolton, moncler femme the curator at the Met,moncler bambino its about the collective fantasy of China and how it is represented in western culture, mens moncler jacket primarily fashion and cinema. This exhibit comprises of over 140 high-fashion pieces from Dior, moncler womens jacket Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and more – all placed alongside their one of a kind Chinese inspirations.

Over the years, many designers have based entire collections on Chinese culture, including YSL’s fall/winter 1977 couture collection and his launch of the “Opium” fragrance. Another example is Valentino’s all red Shanghai collection from 2013, both of which are partly displayed at this exhibit. There are also some beautiful intricate Beijing opera and kabuki inspired pieces by Maison Martin Margiela and John Galliano for Dior on display in a pool of water, which I thought were so amazing.

Going even further back, Chinese export silks and wallpapers were a source of inspiration for Cristobal Balenciaga throughout the 50’s and 60’s. Also blue and white porcelain pieces have been used in many designer works including Rodarte, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel and Roberto Cavalli some of which are on display as well.

Below you can see some of our photos and a video about the exhibit. As I said our photos do not do justice to this exhibit and how beautiful the pieces are but at least you can get an idea of what we experienced.

I hope you enjoy them and I would love to know if anyone else has seen this exhibit?
