This past weekend my husband and I went to Pasadena California (speaking of old & new) and I decided to demonstrate this concept by wearing my favorite vintage jacket with a brand new trendy skirt, moncler pet and trendy gladiators. Fur Sure Womens Fall And Winter Jacket Looks | Jacket Society–moncler uk

In recent years it seems every fall/winter season feels colder than the last one.  I think somehow fashion designers are well aware of this fact months in advance, moncler mens because every fall season we see a bunch of new variations of fur jackets, moncler gamme rouge coats or vests.
This fall fashion season is no different and as you shop any store or pick up any fashion magazine you are bound to see fur outerwear or fur trimmed womens jackets, moncler paris vests and coats.
Personally I love fur during fall and winter but I tend to lean towards faux fur most of the time.  With faux fur you get so much more variety in colors and patterns to choose from and its much more affordable not to mention it is more politically correct nowadays.  I also love the fact that the fur pieces are usually super soft and ridiculously warm and cozy, moncler jacket men yet they can also be very chic.  You can dress them up or wear them casually with jeans and even some nice sneakers or flat boots.
The last but not least thing that I like about womens fur jackets, moncler milano vests and coats is that they are timeless and you can pull them out of your closet every fall and accessorize them differently and they will still look up to date.  Even though I always look for a new and exciting fur piece, outlet moncler I always wear my old ones as well.
Below I have put together a couple of pages of fur sure womens fall and winter jacket looks for you to look at and get inspired by.  As soon as I get my new piece for this season I will share it with you.  Meanwhile why don’t you share with me your thoughts on fur outerwear?

Faux Fur Fall 2014 Biggest Trend–moncler women

Faux Fur Fall 2014 Biggest Trend

Here’s a little something to warm you up today as much of the northern hemisphere is gripped in the winter cold. These womens faux fur jackets and vests should make you feel warm just looking at them. As the fashion industry is feverishly working on preparing for Fall 2015 fashion shows which will be happening next month, cheap moncler jackets I wanted to share with you what my favorite trend for fall 2014 season was – “faux fur jackets and vests”.  I have always loved faux fur jackets, moncler sale vests, moncler online shop coats and even scarves and for the last few fall seasons I have always bought something faux fur and worn it all season.  Even though here in Los Angeles, mens moncler it is not the best location to wear this warm outerwear, moncler hats I manage to find a way to do so,moncler outlet online that’s how much I love this trend.

This year it’s been wonderful to see how acceptable this trend has become with a lot more stores stocking faux fur items and more women embracing them.

Fur is generally thought to have been among the first materials used for clothing and bodily decoration.  In those days real animal fur was what was used for survival from the cold.  Later on real fur became a status symbol and many people liked showing off their wealth by wearing real fur.  As technology improved and faux fur was introduced, moncler down jacket real fur popularity died down.

Anti fur campaigns reached a peak in 1980’s and 1990’s with the participation of many celebrities and even some big fashion designers.  Today faux fur has become more popular not only because of the animal cruelty movements, moncler usa but also for the availability for everyone at every price point.  Personally I love faux fur better because it can be designed and dyed in so many different patterns and colors and they are more affordable and exciting.

Here is how I think you should wear them:

  1. Wear them with tight fitting tops underneath.
  2. They look best with slimmer bottoms like skinny pants or skirts.
  3. If you choose to wear them with a fuller bottom, moncler mens jackets make sure they are made of soft, moncler tracksuit drapey and fluid fabrics.
  4. Make the fur piece your focal point and do not add too many other prints or patterns to it, stick to maybe only one other print or pattern piece and a solid.

Below I have included some of my favorite looks from the runways and a few fur pieces that I love in stores currently.  What are your thoughts on fur  or faux fur outerwear?

The Perfect Jacket For My Santa Barbara Trip | Jacket Society–moncler men

Santa Barbara is such a beautiful city to visit, moncler hoodie the weather and temperature are always so perfect. What I love most about it is the fact that you can get a city shopping experience in the Paseo Nuevo and then experience some of the smaller boutiques and shops as you start to walk down state street.  There are numerous restaurants to get something to eat or drink as you gradually make your way toward the beach to enjoy the sun and the pier. Don’t forget if you have time to visit the beautiful city hall and Santa Barbara Mission.

Last weekend the weather was perfect and on Saturday night we wanted to catch an early dinner and have a walk around town. The sun was starting to set and it was cooling off fast so I decided to wear my new Jacket Society “Haley Jacket”.  This jacket has a classic blazer silhouette that anybody can wear. The fabric color is a rich dark charcoal with a copper and metallic silver stripe.  I have chosen a pinstripe fabric here which again comes from my love of menswear fabrics and it also covers the big “menswear trend” of the season.  What I love about this particular pinstripe is the touch of metallic silver stripes.  This little twist, moncler uk along with the animal print lining in my opinion give this great looking classic jacket an edgy up to date look.  Here I am wearing it with my waxed jeans and a soft silk blouse that has a little bit of beading around the shoulder to give it a different look.  Throw in some sexy sandals and a clutch and you are good to go for an evening out. This was the perfect jacket for my Santa Barbara trip trust me.

As I mentioned before my web site will be ready in the very near future where you can purchase this jacket. Meanwhile if you are interested to find out more info on this piece or would like to purchase one you can email me directly at nora@www.jacketsociety.com – New Now Available Online For Purchase – Click Here to Buy Now

Motorcycle jackets or biker jackets seem to be the “Hot Jacket” this fall, online fashion store so much so that I almost feel there is too many of them out there. That said the moto jacket for women has become a classic staple for fall and hasn’t lost any of its coolness. In fact there are so many different variations of them this season that you are bound to find one you like or a version that you don’t have and must own.

Personally I like the new versions of these jackets for women that are mixed with other fabrications or are in fabrics other than leather like velvets, moncler shirt tweeds and knits, moncler womens coats especially the ones with feminine touches and fresh colors. And even though there are a lot of runway looks pairing them with leather bottoms, outlet moncler I tend to like a contrasting bottom like a denim pieces or legging or a soft dress or skirt. They also look great with dressy pieces like a sexy slim skirt and killer heels for a date night.

Wearing The Soleil Jacket For Mothers Day Dinner

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I had a very busy weekend because I had a trunk show at a beautiful Mother’s Day luncheon on Saturday in Studio City where I got to display and sell my jackets, moncler jacket jewelry and scarves. It was a lot of work, moncler gilet but a lot of fun at the same time, cheap moncler jackets I am going to post all the details and pictures about it on Friday.

Today I am going to tell you how I spent my Mother’s Day with my husband and son. In the past they have always planned a wonderful lunch or brunch by the beach for me. Unfortunately this years plans were a little different because my son is in the middle of his final exams at USC and it was going to be too difficult to plan a full day outing. So this years plan was to go for a nice dinner locally, moncler jackets after spending the day at home working on his studies, moncler outlet uk this would give him a break, moncler soldes but not take too much out of his day.

It actually all worked out perfectly as I spent the day relaxing from being on my feet all day at Saturday’s trunk show. So around 4:30 my husband Tim and I headed out to Pasadena to take pictures for the blog before meeting Stefen around 5:30 for dinner at Smitty’s Grill, moncler gamme rouge which is a very nice steak and seafood restaurant in Pasadena.

During the last few weeks, moncler hoodie the weather in Los Angeles has been quite a bit cooler and we even had some rain last week, mens moncler jackets which is strange for us in May,moncler jassen especially when we have not had a fall or winter season at all this year. Anyway Mothers day ended up being a beautiful sunny day with perfect temperatures, so I decided to wear one of my favorite wrap dresses that I have had for a long time.

It is an elegant printed dress made from georgette and I really wanted to wear something feminine for Mother’s Day. It also just so happened that our Soleil jacket, which is a beautiful gold color, picked up the gold part of the print in this dress perfectly, so it was a no brainer to include the jacket. The Soleil jacket was a big hit on my Saturday Mother’s Day trunk show and I only have a few pieces left before we are sold out. It is on sale right now on our web site here.

I added my favorite vintage Moroccan necklace and my go to gladiator sandals to make the whole look more modern and current.

We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Mother’s Day.

How was your Mother’s Day and don’t’ forget to let me know your thoughts on my look?

So this years plan was to go for a nice dinner locallymoncler mens jacket, moncler jackets after spending the day at home working on his studies, moncler outlet uk this would give him a break, moncler soldes but not take too much out of his day.

It actually all worked out perfectly as I spent the day relaxing from being on my feet all day at Saturday’s trunk show. So around 4:30 my husband Tim and I headed out to Pasadena to take pictures for the blog before meeting Stefen around 5:30 for dinner at Smitty’s Grillmoncler online shop, moncler gamme rouge which is a very nice steak and seafood restaurant in Pasadena.

During the last few weeks, moncler hoodie the weather in Los Angeles has been quite a bit cooler and we even had some rain last week, mens moncler jackets which is strange for us in May, moncler jassen especially when we have not had a fall or winter season at all this year. Anyway Mothers day ended up being a beautiful sunny day with perfect temperatures, so I decided to wear one of my favorite wrap dresses that I have had for a long time.

It is an elegant printed dress made from georgette and I really wanted to wear something feminine for Mother’s Day. It also just so happened that our Soleil jacket, which is a beautiful gold colormoncler trainers, picked up the gold part of the print in this dress perfectly, so it was a no brainer to include the jacket.

For me the length that I am wearing today is probably as short as I will go,moncler uk unless we are at the beach or by a pool and my shorts are really more like a cover up. With the Ivory vest and black shorts being my base, moncler womens coats there were so many different ways you can go for a top. Any bright color top would have worked here as well, but I chose to wear it with my grey and black geometric print top to keep the slick modern look going.
