Women's Sleeveless Jackets And Coats Fall 2014 Trend Alert–moncler jassen

Women’s Sleeveless Jackets And Coats Fall 2014 Trend Alert

Ever since I started my blog, moncler jacken a little over a year ago, moncler femme I have shown a few different looks with sleeveless jackets or vests.  I have always been able to find one or two per season that I have loved wearing and I keep on looking for new unique finds every year in stores but unfortunately I always seem to be unable to locate the ones that I really like.

Well this year I am thrilled to say that finally there are a few women’s sleeveless jackets and coats that I really think are wonderful and they are available in stores now for fall 2014,moncler bambino so I wanted to share them with you all.  The reason behind this is obviously the fact that they are a big trend for fall 2014 and many designers showed them on the runways back in February.

This menswear inspired fall outerwear trend offers some great pieces to add to your wardrobe for the fall transition.  They are polished enough for a meeting at the office yet cool enough to wear out to dinner or cocktails.  The good news is they were seen on a lot of spring 2015 runway shows as well.  So naturally if you invest in buying one now, moncler pet you can wear it for fall and on to spring 2015 .

Here are some examples of how I like  to wear them:

  1. In early fall wear them over short sleeve or sleeveless tops or dresses.
  2. When it gets colder wear long sleeve tops or sweaters under them.
  3. Finally when its really cold you can add another coat on top of them.

Below you can see my favorites from the runways earlier this year and  I have picked some for you that are currently available in stores or on line.

Let me know your thoughts on sleeveless jackets and coats, moncler jassen will you be wearing them for fall?

Wearing My Shrunken Blazer As A Cardigan

Having lived in Los Angeles for most of my life, kids moncler I can easily say that I am used to the heat waves that usually come along from July to September. The only good part about these heat waves is that we don’t get much humidity. For the most part, moncler ski jacket they are bearable if you have air conditioning. I personally like warmer climates, mens moncler as I love the sun (I am a Leo after all),moncler moka so living in Los Angeles suits me. The only thing that I miss about not experiencing colder winters is the fashion aspect. As you already know I love coats and blazer jackets for women. But living in Los Angeles sometimes limits you with your winter wardrobe. That said, moncler tracksuit I recently noticed how I still use jackets most of the time when I go out, moncler kinder even if it is during the summer. The main reason for this is the “air conditioning” that is blasting in every store, moncler lans restaurant, moncler femme bank and office you walk into during these months. I am glad all these places have the air conditioning or else we would not last in the heat, moncler kids but for that same reason, moncler coats I find myself always having a jacket, cardigan, or blazer for women with me when we are going out. This is especially prevalent when we are going to restaurants, since I seem to get seated right under the air conditioning vent every time and have to switch places with my husband (who loves the cold air). I am not complaining because this is all a good excuse to wear more jackets right??

Last weekend when I was going out to dinner with my husband I decided to wear one of my favorite summer jackets that I have had for years. I bought this Theory shrunken blazer years ago when shrunken blazers were a trendy item. Even as a designer of jackets for women, I have worn it many times and continue to do so especially for summer nights. What I love about this shrunken blazer is that it is almost like a cardigan. It is made of a soft, stretchy cotton material and has no lining or shoulder pads which gives it a more casual feel. I am wearing it here with my red floral printed dress. I don’t usually go for big bold prints, but when I saw this dress years ago, I fell in love with the print, color and the silhouette. It’s been one of my favorite go-to dresses for summer ever since.

Tell me what your feelings are about air conditioned spaces and if you find yourself needing a jacket or cardigan like me?

I Love Cargo Jackets For Spring Summer

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. After a couple of weeks of having fall like weather in Los Angeles, moncler men we finally got back to our normal 90-degree temperatures here over this last weekend. I was getting ready to meet a friend for lunch last Friday and it was still a bit overcast and cloudy, moncler femme so I thought it was a perfect chance to wear my favorite Cargo/Utility jacket that I have had for many years which never goes out of style. I purchased this “Comptoir Des Cotonniers” cargo jacket a few years ago when we were in London visiting my husband’s family. It is a French brand that has stores in many major European cities and I believe they do have one in Soho in NYC,moncler parka but unfortunately none in Los Angeles area.

As soon as I saw it,online fashion store I really liked the color and the design details and I knew I would get a lot of use out of it especially in Los Angeles. It is a 100% cotton khaki color fabric, moncler bambino which is the perfect casual jacket to throw on when there is a little chill in the air or it’s a bit windy. Even though you can wear it with many colors like black or denim, moncler kids I personally love mixing it with white. This is why I chose to wear it with my distressed white jean skirt from Zara, moncler jacken which I bought last summer. This was also a great chance for me to wear my brand new Sam Edelman wedges which are currently on sale (you can find the link below).  When it came to accessorizing it,moncler womens jackets many colors came to my mind that would work like yellow or orange but again my favorite was turquoise. I love mixing white/tan/turquoise together especially for spring/summer. I added our brand new turquoise stone necklace that has a tan leather fringe and our beautiful leopard scarf in a white/turquoise combo, moncler cap both of which are perfect accessories for spring/summer. You can find the necklace here and the scarf here.

Before I sign off for today, moncler mens jackets  I wanted to say that I am super excited to be going to New York City this Friday with my son for a fun filled summer trip. The Last time I went was over two years ago during summer to look at colleges with him and we had a blast. When I asked him recently if he wanted to have a short trip with me to NYC this summer, I was pleasantly surprised to get a “sure” right away. We both love NYC, the energy, the sites, the food, and of course the shopping. I also have a niece that lives in Astoria so it would be nice to see her as well. I will post pictures daily on my Instagram Page and Facebook Page, so if you are not following me please do so to see what we are up to. I will not have my normally scheduled blog story next Tuesday since we will still be in NYC, but I will have a blog story about the trip by next Thursday.

I wish you all a great week and don’t forget to let me know what you think of my outfit.

AN INSPIRATIONAL VISIT TO WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL

It’s safe to say that one of my favorite architectural buildings in Los Angeles is the Walt Disney Concert Hall.  Designed by Frank Gehry, moncler jumper it is designed to be one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world.  What I love most about this building is the incredibly architectural design. As I am about to start work on some new jacket designs for my jacket society line, moncler shoes I thought it would be a good idea to have a day out in downtown Los Angeles to visit my favorite building and walk around. This was the perfect opportunity to wear the new Brooklyn Contemporary Womens Jacket In Hounds Tooth from the Jacket Society fall line and take a few photos.  The Brooklyn jacket is basically the same body as my Chelsea jacket but a different color combination.  It is a beautiful charcoal and black hounds tooth fabric trimmed with rich black velvet for the collar and welt pockets.  This is another classic jacket that you can wear with any bottom in black or with jeans.  Here I am wearing it with my faux leather leggings to give a bit more of an edgy look.  Hey it works with the architecture of the building right? I also like wearing my cream shirt underneath to lighten up the whole outfit.  I like leaving the back part of the shirt out to give the outfit a more casual and relaxed look. This outfit would also look great with any bright color top underneath to brighten it up. If you are interested in seeing more about this Brooklyn Womens Contemporary Jacket – Click Here

My Favorite Looks From The Milan Fall 2014 Fashion Week

As the Paris fall 2014 fashion week is in progress, moncler usa I wanted to look back and do a small recap of my favorite looks from Milan fall 2014 fashion week which ended a few days ago.  Even though Paris is the capital of fashion, moncler shorts I have a lot of love and admiration for Italian designers and the talent and workmanship that comes out of that country.  Italy being one of my most favorite countries to visit, moncler womens coats it has the best of all things I love, moncler women great fashion, moncler store food, moncler outlet store design, moncler men art and architecture.

It is always difficult to choose your favorite looks and collection when there is so much talent out there.  But I have tried to base my picks mainly on great outerwear and jackets.

Gucci

What I loved most about this collection was its well tailored, moncler vest crisp and sexy looks which stay true to the Gucci woman no matter what is going on in the rest of the fashion world.  I think a lot of women have a hard time with all the oversized looks that are being shown right now especially when its oversized over oversized shapes that hide a woman’s curves completely.  I think Frida Giannini understands that a woman needs to show some shape.  I also loved her use of soft pastel colors for fall which was refreshing.  Here are just a few of the looks I loved.

Roberto Cavali

Cavali is another designer that is all about sex appeal but usually with a bit of rock and roll mixed into a chic and classy look.  This combination sometimes does not work so well but this season I think he got it just right.  I loved all the fur, moncler canada python, moncler t shirt prints and jewels mixed in just the right way.  Here are just a few of the looks I loved.

Marni

Consuelo Castiglioni took a lot of the trends that are happening and mixed them all together.  Somehow she got it right, she is the best at doing odd mixes and making them somehow work.  There was fur, feathers, sportiness and military all mixed in one.  I loved the beautiful earthy colors which was a nice change from black.  Here are just a few of the looks I loved.

Max Mara

I love menswear influences for women.  It’s just a classic that never goes out of style.  Max Mara’s team showed Seville Row tailoring and menswear inspired looks beautifully.  Even though some pieces were on the oversized side and quilted, somehow they worked because they still had some shape.  I loved all the sleeveless coats and vests, classic menswear tweeds mixed together and with fur.  Here are just a few of the looks I loved.

Salvatore Ferragamo

Massimilano Grornetti’s subtle more luxurious and a little serious look seems to work really well.  This was a very chic and classy collection that covered enough trends but stayed true to its core customer.  Beautiful plaids, animal prints, fur and feathers and leather done in unexpected ways.  Here a just a few of the looks I loved.
